The company has established, documented, implemented, maintained, and continually improves a company-wide quality management system as a means to ensure product conformance to specified requirements and continued compliance to ISO 9001 and industry standards. Industry standards include, HEI (Heat Exchange Institute), ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers), API (American Petroleum Institute), ASTM (American Society of Testing and Material), as well as many other industrial, country-specific, and military standards and specifications.

Schutte & Koerting measures and monitors the characteristics of the product to verify that requirements are met. This is carried out at appropriate stages of the product manufacturing process. All measuring equipment is calibrated to NIST-traceable standards by an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory. The company maintains and safeguards all engineering records, required inspections and tests performed on equipment, and/or materials within the company’s scope of work. Hydrotest inspection, PMI (positive material identification), liquid penetrant inspection, magnetic particle, ultrasonic and radiographic inspections, among others are performed as required.
