Dual Plug Valves are heavy service valves and are mounted between two oil coolers inside a reservoir tank. These valves are simple in design and are usually submerged - therefore they are not subject to the effects of corrosive conditions. Maintenance is limited to periodically oiling the hammer blow handwheel at the oil hole and replacing washers and seals. The only other moving part is the plug which is lubricated by the flowing media.
