Throttle Trip Valve
Throttle Trip Valves perform two distinct and separate functions. One of these is to control, by throttling, the steam admitted to the turbine when bringing it up to speed. The other is to act as a quick-closing or emergency trip valve.
When ordering refurbishment services be sure to give all the data on the valve reference plate, the number of the sectional illustration, and piece list forming part of this bulletin. Also, the name and number of the parts required as numbered and described.
